A proverb, pretty well known by all adepts of african and afro-descendant religions, says that "kò sí ewé kò sí Òrìsà - without leaves, there's no Òrìsà". More than a saying, it is a truth accepted and recognized by all Babaláwo, Babalòrìsà and Ìyalórìsà that, in all rituals and basis linked to the Òrìsà, are worryed in looking for the most appropriate leaves. However, we must recognize that, in modern world, the forest are getting more and more distant from the places where the communities ("terreiros") are located and few houses have in their space the necessary plants for their daily activities. Besides, many sacred plants are not available in our forests, they are not native, being necessary to search them in ase material trading places. Concerned with this facts, we managed to develop seedlings of many sacred plants - having available now more than 300 varieties - and we placed to the disposition of the folowers of Òrìsà religion the possibility of having in your place those plants. We are opening this site as a communication channel between the interested and us from
